Joker is the pilot of the Normady and aids you through out the entire Mass Effect series.

Joker had a disease that made him limp and made it easy for his bones to break. Because of this it was difficult for him to move around. Joker loved to tell jokes and always found humor through even the strangest or worst of times. Joker fell in love with a human-like machine named Edi. By the Mass Effect 3 ending Joker can escape with Edi and hold hands with her.
